Rep. Patrick J. Kennedy called the Catholic Church to task for opposing aspects of health care reform being debated in Congress. In an interview with CyberCast News, Rep. Kennedy declared, "If the church is pro-life, then they ought to be for health care reform because it's going to provide health care that [will] keep people alive." Providence Bishop Thomas J. Tobin responded that "Rep. Kennedy continues to be a disappointment to the Catholic Church..."
